A complaint was received by WorkSafe about the state of scaffolding that was installed at a residential building site. It was found that the scaffold was inadequately installed and maintained and the Defendant had not carried out regular inspections to ensure the scaffold was safe. A number of workers had been working on the scaffold and were exposed to a risk of death or serious injury.
