Asbestos removal

An asbestos removal control plan (ARCP) identifies the specific control measures a removalist will use to make sure that workers and other people are not put at risk during licensed asbestos removal.

The removalist must also complete a handover document to confirm the area has been checked and is clean.

Licensed assessors use clearance inspections to inspect asbestos removal areas after asbestos removal work has been completed to verify the areas are safe for normal use.
