The security fence was located in a safe storage premises and caused an electric shock to a person who entered the area for a vehicle inspection.

A Technical Officer from WorkSafe Energy Safety carried out a site inspection and found the signage advising the presence of the electric security to be inadequate, and notified to the management of the premises.

The management had an inspection carried out by an electric fence installer. Additional signs warning the presence of the electric fence were installed. The management also installed an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at the site.
