This Asbestos Awareness Week (November 17–23 2025) we remind tradies and businesses that there are no excuses for not protecting workers and others from the risk of asbestos exposure.

Asbestos is New Zealand’s number one workplace killer. Despite the serious health risks of asbestos exposure being widely known for over a century, around 220 people die each year from asbestos-related disease.
